Some cool stories I saw over break

Here are two stories I heard about over break which I thought were sweet. One is about a guy trying to break the sound barrier while skydiving. He would be about 23 miles up in the atmosphere and would have to reach speeds of about 690 miles per hour.

The other story is about another guy who used a camera, a weather balloon, and some duct tape to take some sweet pictures of the earth. They don't show all the pics on this website but they showed some of them on the evening news. Some kids at MIT did the same thing and apparently worked with a 148 dollar budget. This compared to the millions of dollars it sometimes cost NASA to take similar pictures.

Does Stadium still care about politics?
An article written by a conservative that doesn't fall into the GOP talking points category. Interesting to note that he got fired from a conservative thinktank because of writing it.

Wow. Ant's are crazy.

Nostalgia

So lately I have been feeling very nostalgic. I just can not seem to get my mind off of the wonderful months we spent in stadium. Rather than going into some lengthy schpeal about why I miss our dwelling so much, I think I'll just list some of my favorite memories. In doing so, I hope others will post on their favorite memories.

1. First moving into stadium
I was the first person to set foot in 110. When I got there the desks were how they were left when the previous guys vacated. All I could imagine was all the awesome times we would have there. I also noticed that the toilet was exposed as soon as you walked into the bathroom. After a couple days Ted and Ryan started to bring stuff down and our room began to take shape. Luckily I had secured a super sketchy couched from the bottom of stadium so our room contained 3 couches...baller status. When Mark and BK finally got to school I knew we were in for one hell of a year.

2. Our first party
Two words...Beer Fest. This party was the party that put stadium on the map. We had virtually the entire school flooding our apartment. All of our games and beer were a hit with the whole student body. From then on it was not uncommon for people to stop by looking for a party (even during dry season)

3. The Prank Wars
How they got started is beyond me, but I remember the warring rooms at all hours of the evening. The worst was when I came home one time and my desk was in the bathroom.

Good times...Good times

Happy Birthday Blog

Wow. Anyone else realize that our blog has lasted a whole year? I'd say that's a pretty good accomplishment! I know several people who have studied abroad or went on to a new locale and tried to blog about their experiences and failed miserably. But our collective action has kept this ol thing alive and well!

Ted did a great recap of the first 100 posts and hell, its been a little over 200 posts now! Our blog has gone through some changes in the last year. For example, our first week of blogging, we posted 15 times collectively! My personal goal is to keep it up and to post more often. I actually enjoy doing it.

I'm still looking to monetize... But we would have to actually get our viewer count up. So let's start writing and attract some more readers so that we can have coins raining down on us!

So here is to us! We all deserve a pat on the back.

Hope that you guys are enjoying the onset of spring. For those of you on break, enjoy the lack of pressure.

I'll leave ya'll with this.
